TEXAS - During the pandemic, Frios Gourmet Pops completely transformed its franchising system to a mobile franchise. With tie-dye wrapped vans, Frios now plans to rapidly expand its footprint beyond its current 40 franchisees with the help of Alison Groom. Frios made the hire within its own system as Alison is a franchisee in Keller, Texas.

“Alison is the perfect fit for this role with Frios. She was finding new franchisees for us before this promotion, and I believe with more resources behind her that she will be a great asset to our team,” says Cliff Kennedy, CEO of Frios Gourmet Pops. “Her enthusiasm and great personality are a great reflection of our company, and she has a talent for finding great franchisees. I like to put people in a position to be their best, and I believe Alison will exceed all of my expectations. In the short time she has been in this position, she has already made a tremendous impact with our current franchisees, and the new franchisees all give her high praise.”

Alison has been a franchisee for over one year and has a sales background from her previous experience. Alison loves hearing the stories of how people were introduced to Frios and being a part of their journey to entrepreneurship and being their own boss.

“This role will allow me to do something that I love which is selling and working with others. We have a very simple system at Frios. We sell a prepackaged product that requires no machines to clean or complicated systems. We are providing people with a fun business that the entire family can be involved in. My kids ride with me at times to help me sell pops, and i I love that they want to be a part of my business,” says Groom.

With a wide variety of flavors from Key Lime Pie to Strawberry Mango, Frios offers a flavor for everyone. The Frios motto is “The Best Things in Life are Frios”, and Frios believes that trying is believing. Expansion efforts are focused in the Southeast where there is a tremendous amount of room for growth.
